Unlikely pals Kate Beckinsale and Eamonn Holmes hilariously posed up for series of ‘suggestive’ snaps while partying together on Monday night.

The actress, 51, took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to share a carousel of images with the GB News star, 64, after they crossed paths.

Kate previously admitted she was a surprise fan of the presenter thanks to a hilarious New Year’s Eve snap.

After being ‘social media friends’ for many years, she finally got to meet her idol – and judging by the entertaining series of photos, she made the most of their interaction.

In one snap, Kate, who has battled a series of health issues in recent months, flaunted her flexibility by cheekily posing with her leg above Eamonn’s head in huge platform biker boots.

The TV star, who recently returned from a holiday with his new partner Katie Alexander, jokingly put his finger on his lips as the actress pouted for the camera next to him.

Meanwhile, other photos from the night saw Kate posing with ‘suggestive’ vegetables, and Eamonn sticking his tongue out next to her.

Kate looked stunning in a black and white mini dress featuring a statement glittering flower detail, meanwhile the TV presenter put on a smart display in a blue suit for the outing.

The Resident Evil star captioned her Instagram post with: ‘I don’t know what to say. When you see @eamonnholmes at a party the urge to ask him to pose with suggestive veg is unprecedented for reasons even I don’t understand.

‘This did not happen when I met @springstreen so I have to conclude it’s either intrinsic to Eamonn or something to do with the approaching harvest festival.’

It came just after Eamonn posted a photo on his own Instagram page of the duo’s interaction, writing: ‘After years of being SM friends an ambition fulfilled tonight with the wonderful actress @KateBeckinsale.’

The snap posted by the GB News star featured saw him lovingly put his arm around the actress as they both grinned.

This is not the first time that Kate had showed her appreciation for Eamonn, with the star also appearing in a fun snap, where she pretended to lick a mask of his face.

It came just after Eamonn posted a photo on his own Instagram page of the duo’s interaction, writing: ‘After years of being SM friends an ambition fulfilled tonight with the wonderful actress @KateBeckinsale’

Eamonn himself reposted the image on New Year’s Day, with the caption: ‘Looks like the secret is out about @katebeckinsale and me.

‘But I can’t deny it was a great NYE Party!!!! Well at least my 2024 got off to a great start.’

Eamonn arrived back in the UK on Sunday with his girlfriend Katie Alexander, after the couple spent the last week on a luxury romantic break together.

The GB News presenter and the relationship counsellor weren’t shy about showing off their new romance, with the pair spotted engaging in PDA during the trip.

On Friday evening, the broadcaster was even seen cheekily grabbing her bottom as they headed on a night out in Ibiza.

The getaway reportedly left Ruth shocked, with the holiday occurring just four months after the former golden couple announced they were divorcing after 14 years of marriage.

The Sun revealed Catherine Costley has been called up by the star who seeks to end her 14-year marriage to Eamonn with a financial settlement.

Costley is known for her fierce approach to divorce settlements and has said all women should have a ‘go bag’ fund when exiting a relationship, according to The Sun.

The divorce lawyer was once an apprentice of ‘Steel Magnolia’ Baroness Fiona Shackleton, Britain’s highest-profile divorce lawyer who famously represented Charles in his split from Diana in 1996.

Baronness Shackleton has also worked with A-list stars including Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher and Madonna, and was once doused with water in court by a furious Heather Mills while representing the Beatles legend during the couple’s divorce in 2008.
