A blind item on Reddit has fans questioning whether Kim Kardashian was the person who reportedly “helped” Travis Kelce land his role in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming TV show, Grotesquerie. This will be the NFL star, who is dating Taylor Swift, acting debut.

Now fans are wondering if the reality star did this to “get under [the popstar’s] skin.”

A post in the subreddit r/KUWTKsnark shared a blind item that read: “This A-list athlete got his recent acting gig thanks to the recommendation of this A-list alliterate reality star/actress/producer who is best buddies with the producer of the who. That is a very interesting turn of events.”

 

“She’s horrible,” one fan commented under the post. “Taylor, write another song about Kim trying to infiltrate everyone you love just to get under your skin!”

Another one shared: “Honestly, if this is true I want Taylor to publicly annihilate her.”

“I was actually wondering this as soon as I saw Ryan Murphy and Kelce. Since [Kimberly] is trying to collect all of TS’s besties,” one commenter wrote. Another fan responded to that comment saying: “That’s what narcissists do. They try to triangulate their victim so they are left feeling alone and unsupported.”

Deadline revealed on Tuesday, May 7, that Travis would be making his Hollywood debut, landing his first major acting role in Ryan Murphy‘s high-profile new FX horror series titled Grotesquerie. He will be starring in the series alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville. The series has already started production.

The rumor of Kim helping Travis follows the news that one of the songs on Taylor’s new album The Tortured Poets Department titled thanK you aIMee seemingly addressed an old feud with the SKIMS founder.

“I wrote a thousand songs that you find uncool. I built a legacy which you can’t undo. But when I count the scars, there’s a moment of truth. That there wouldn’t be this, if there hadn’t been you,” Taylor sings on the track. “And maybe you’ve reframed it. And in your mind, you never beat my spirit black and blue.”

“I don’t think you’ve changed much. And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues. And one day, your kid comes home singin’,” she continues. “A song that only us two is gonna know is about you.”
