REVEALED: Why Pete Wicks will escape BBC Strictly elimination AGAIN and show favourites risk AXE amid BIAS and BULLYING scandals??

Pete Wicks has been tipped to scrape through another week of Strictly Come Dancing.

The former TOWIE star has been worried for weeks that his time on the BBC show could soon be up. He has been paired up with professional dancer Jowita Przystał together they performed a tango to the song Easy Lover by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins, gaining a score of 29. Jamie Borthwick and his professional partner Michelle Tsiakkas were the latest pair to be booted off the show as the quarter finals near.

Some fans have even accused the Strictly judges of overmarking Pete as they called for him to leave the show. However, it seems Pete may not have to wave goodbye to the dancefloor just yet. He has been given a huge boost ahead of Saturday’s live show as it has been confirmed he will be performing the Waltz.

Fan favourites Sarah Hadland and Montell Douglas could be putting themselves at risk with their chosen dances. Spokesperson for SlotsCalendar, Viorel Stan, said: “Despite being touted as a firm favourite to be eliminated in this weekend’s quarter-final, our research has seemingly given Pete Wicks yet another lifeline in this year’s edition of Strictly.

“Data collected since 2018 has found the Waltz – Pete’s chosen routine this weekend – is one of the safest dances in the programme, contributing to just a single elimination in the last seven series. Instead, it’s Sarah Hadland who has thrown caution to the wind by performing the Charleston, which has led to a whopping nine eliminations in the same timeframe.

“Montell Douglas also takes a risk with the Rumba, responsible for five eliminations, while JB Gill’s Viennese Waltz has brought about just two exits.” According to the experts, Chris McCausland seems to be all but through to the semi-finals as he is set to perform the Quickstep.

The dance has been responsible for just one elimination since 2018, as has Tasha Ghouri’s Argentine Tango. Amid the criticism over Pete’s dance abilities, former Strictly pro Brendan Cole had slightly more faith in his efforts. He told Sky Vegas: “I didn’t love his [Pete Wicks’] number on the weekend, but it wasn’t bad enough [to be voted out].”

He added: “Obviously, the audience were on board, because he’s making it through. Potentially, in the next few weeks, he could really do something quite special. Saturday night was probably one of his worst dances – if he was going to go, last night would have been the night for it to happen.”

Pete has even started to plan what he will do after his Strictly exit as his best mate Sam Thompson revealed he will fly to Australia. Made in Chelsea star Sam is currently Down Under working on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’s spin-off show. Pete travelled to the Australian jungle in 2023 to support Sam when he competed on the show and is planning to again.

Sam revealed: “Pete did say if he gets booted out of Strictly he might come out and see me! We’ll get to have another bridge reunion.” Pete also has another tempting reason to head to Australia as his rumoured girlfriend, Love Island’s Maura Higgins entered the jungle on Thursday night.
