I’m A Celebrity viewers could see a romance on the cards as Tulisa and Alan Halsall grow close in the jungle.
The N-Dubz singer, 36, and the Coronation Street actor, 42, may have something special when they leave the ITV show. Tulisa had stepped away from the spotlight in recent years since being a judge on the X Factor. She has already hinted she is looking for ‘the one’ as she made her comeback to TV screens.
Alan married Lucy-Jo Hudson in 2009 after they met on the set of the soap in 2002 and began dating in 2004. They welcomed their daughter, Sienna-Rae, in 2013 but initially split in March 2016. The pair soon reconciled and had another roll of the dice on their romance. But it still didn’t work the second time round, and they ultimately split for good in 2018.

Initial meeting
Fans thought there could be something between Tulisa and Alan right at the very first episode of I’m A Celebrity. Upon entering the jungle, Tulisa jumped out of a helicopter and decided to pick Alan for the first challenge of the series. Alan and Tulisa proved they work well together as they won the race.
It meant they were able to sleep in the hideout and become camp leaders. For more than three days, the pair spent time alone and slept in luxury.
Approval
Tulisa’s best friend as also weighed in on a romance. Michelle McKenna has said that the singer and Alan could get together. Michelle told the Mirror : “I would love her to meet someone…. I love Alan but I think they are little besties in there. They would actually make a dead cute couple. We will have to wait and see. And he is a northerner. You never know.”
Alan’s brother Stephen, who has flown into Brisbane to support him, also shared his thoughts on the potential new couple. He told us: “You never know do you. I don’t know whether he is looking for a relationship or not? You just never know what’s around the corner but she is a nice enough girl.”
It appears they may even have the approval of Tulisa’s ex-boyfriend, Fazer – real name Richard Rawson. “Who knows?” Fazer told Heat. “Like she said, there’s got to be some sort of emotional connection. If not, the thought of sleeping with them gives her the ick.” Fazer made it clear that he wouldn’t have any bad blood with Alan for shacking up with his ex.

Tulisa has spoke at length about her love life on the show. She said last week: “No I’ve only done Raya. I’m not really a dater, even though I’ve been on there, I’ve never gone on an actual date with anyone on there… I’m proper guarded.” She added that she felt “demi-sexual”, adding: “I need to have a really close emotional bond with someone…I need actual depth. I’m a slow, slow burner, I’ve been celibate for over three years.”
After Dean quizzed her on what it’s like being celibate, she added: “I’m not an overly sexualised person. For me, it’s all about the connection and the emotions that I feel with someone and then wanting to express them in that way.” Explaining the thought of sleeping with someone or going out and meeting someone “genuinely makes me feel physically sick” she joked: “This is my temple, you cannot enter!” ‘Demisexual’ is a sexual orientation where attraction is based on an emotional connection over the primary physical butterflies you get when you first meet someone.
Checking in on each other
Throughout the show, viewers have noticed Alan likes to check up on Tulisa to make sure she is coping. Tulisa took part in her first ever Bushtucker Trial on Wednesday and Alan made sure to give her a hug for good luck. The soap star also assured Tulisa she would be okay when she was scared to take part in the Fright Bus will all the other campmates.
