Can Prince Harry Find His Place Again? While ‘Facing an Existential Crisis’ Before His 40th Birthday, The Duke’s American Dream Shattered!

With dwindling public support, failed ventures, and growing isolation, Harry is reportedly experiencing a personal crisis as he approaches his 40th birthday.

The discussion covers Harry’s fading American dream, his struggles for relevance, and the mounting tension with the royal family.

Join Nana Akua, Lizzie Cundy and Maureen Callahan discuss Prince Harry’s strained relationship with his brother Prince William, speculation on potential reconciliation, and commentary on Meghan Markle’s faltering business ventures. Can Harry ever find his place again?

Prince Harry is at a “significant crossroads” and is feeling “very alone” ahead of his 40th birthday, it has been claimed.

Sources close to the Duke of Sussex have denied that the royal has expressed interest in returning to the UK part-time, following reports.

Sources have told the Telegraph that Harry is “very much happy and settled” in California, and has “no interest” in returning to royal duties.

They added that he has an “amazing” new set of friends and “several projects on the horizon”.

Discussing the estranged royal on GBN America, columnist Maureen Callahan claimed that the Prince is having an “existential crisis” as he approaches his milestone birthday.

Callahan explained: “I tend to believe he’s really at a significant crossroads and having some sort of existential crisis.

“He’s about to turn 40, his sister-in-law has cancer, his father has cancer. We have learned last week that all of his calls either to Charles directly or to staff about his health go unanswered – he is completely frozen out.”

Noting the re-release of his controversial memoir Spare, which drove an even bigger wedge between himself and the Royal Family, Callahan added that the paperback edition having “no updates or apology” will “reignite old wounds” for the monarchy.

Callahan told GBNA: “Spare is about to come out in paperback, which is going to reignite all of those old wounds. I think that all of those factors I said, coupled with their business failings in America, probably have Harry feeling very alone, very aimless, very adrift. What is his point?”

When asked by host Nana Akua where the Sussex income is now coming from amid the suspected collapse of their multi-million dollar deal with Netflix, Callahan claimed the Duke would “happily return to the royal fold” if all other projects failed.

Callahan said: “I think that were there ever in aperture to open for some sort of return to the royal fold, he would happily take it home, because everything is failing.

“Meghan’s new Netflix show has been punted to sometime in 2025, as has her revived podcast with another company after she was cut loose from Spotify. All they’ve got is the Spare paperback.”

Casting doubt on the success of Spare’s re-release, Callahan also claimed that those who bought the book initially “got it for the content”, and have “already seen it”, and so a paperback version “won’t be a huge generator”.

Turning the discussion to Harry’s relationship with the Royal Family, Nana offered her verdict on whether she believes the King and his son can reconcile any time soon, suggesting that the Sussexes mainly want to reconcile “for money”.

Nana said: “Sadly, I think the bottom line is money is what they’re after. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe they do genuinely want to reconcile. But if you genuinely want to reconcile, surely you would speak to your family directly and Meghan would go and see her dad?

That’s still not happened yet, she hasn’t brought the kids to see her father, who was very good to her when she was younger.

“It’s not like there’s been some terrible story of some awfulness that he’s done to them. It was just this one story that actually isn’t quite as it seems, and she’s not forgiving him for that – that doesn’t seem right to me.”
