Emmerdale fans were left concerned after a d3ath appeared to be confirmed in a 2025 flashforward, which showed Cain Dingle sobbing at someone’s grave in a future scene

Some Emmerdale fans think they know who might be k!lled off next year, as the Dingles are set to be rocked by more tragedy.

As the ITV soap released five huge flashforwards to 2025, we got a glimpse into the future for a number of characters. There are multiple dark twists ahead it seems, with possible d3aths teased.

One scene in particular yet to be explained has left fans rattled, as Cain Dingle appears to lose someone he loves. Amid his wife Moira Dingle’s brain tumour diagnosis which she’s currently having treatment for, Cain looks set to suffer a loss in the coming weeks or months.

In the flashforward he was shown standing by someone’s freshly dug grave, confirming a funeral had just taken place. In the clip he is dressed in a suit, sobbing at the graveside which has flowers on it.

The flowers spell something out but the word or name is not shown on camera, clearly trying to cover up the d3ath. But amid fans worrying this means Moira will d!e after her health battle, some fans think they’ve worked out the truth.

Many viewers don’t think it’s Moira at all who meets a sad end, but someone else linked to Cain. Whose d3ath is Cain crying over, and what happens? Viewers will just have to tune in to find out.

Viewers are now speculating Cain is about to lose his son Nate Robinson who left the show back in September. Fans have long predicted a d3ath for Nate, believing he would d!e in the fire at the barn months ago.

When this didn’t happen, some fans were convinced he did in fact perish but is yet to be discovered. This was ruled out when Nate made contact with his ex Tracy, but now fans think he may d!e offscreen in a tragic twist.

Taking to X, one viewer theorised: “Cain is at Nate’s grave I’m calling it now.” Another fan agreed: “FOR SURE,” as a third added: “Good shout!!” A fourth fan posted: “Cain stood at a grave I’m saying Nate maybe?” as another said: “I’M TELLING YOUSE NOW IT’S F***ING NATE.”

The theories kept on coming, with another fan adding: “Omg yes poor Nate.” Other fan speculated Cain’s daughter Debbie Dingle might d!e, with one writing: “I thought the flowers were spelling out Daughter.” Another speculated: “Looks about 5 letters but one looked like an M or an H. Could it be Matty, if its not Moira or Caleb. Trying to think of characters linked to Cain mainly.”
