Ben Affleck is spending time with Kick Kennedy , daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., while Jennifer Lopez files for divorce.

A source told Page Six that Ben Affleck and Kick Kennedy were spotted at the Beverly Hills, California hotel and other high-profile locations.

Unlike her father, Kick Kennedy, 36, has chosen to stay out of politics to pursue an acting career. She appeared in an episode of HBO ‘s Curb Your Enthusiasm , which featured her stepmother Cheryl Hines. Kick’s father recently dropped out of his presidential campaign to support Republican candidate Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

Kick Kennedy was one of two children from Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s first marriage to Emily Black. She was named after Kathleen Agnes Cavendish, a socialite who was the older sister of President John F. Kennedy and died at the age of 28 in a plane crash in France. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was the son of Attorney General and Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the grandson of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and Senator Ted Kennedy.

The nature of Ben Affleck and Kick Kennedy ‘s relationship remains unclear. She declined to comment, while a representative for Ben Affleck did not respond.

Jennifer Lopez (55 years old) filed for divorce from Ben Affleck (52 years old) on August 20 after months of rumors of a breakup.

Their marriage ended in March 2024, although the On the Floor hitmaker listed the date of separation as April 26, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. One of those differences may have been that Ben Affleck couldn’t handle the media attention their relationship received.

Page Six reported in 2022 that the Argo star “ freaked out” on their honeymoon in Paris because of the paparazzi, recalling why they called off their engagement in 2002 due to the pressure of media attention.

An acquaintance of Affleck’s told Page Six that he is not ashamed of his need for solitude and “takes pride in taking care of himself and always will.” They added that “He has never — and likely never will — give himself completely to another person.”

Meanwhile, a source close to star Jennifer Lopez told Page Six in early August that she felt ashamed of her failed marriage because Jennifer believed she and Affleck would eventually stay in love.

“She was furious. Ben was the one who took the initiative to get back together with her after their split in 2002. He humiliated her by making a big deal out of him being the love of her life,” the source added. Jennifer Lopez tried her best to save their marriage while Ben Affleck was not interested.
