Since the LA Lakers selected Bronny James in the second round of this year’s NBA Draft, his father, LeBron James, has found more critics than ever. Former NBA player Steven Hunter is the latest to join the chorus of critics.

On his private Instagram account, Hunter criticized LeBron for allegedly forcing the Lakers to pick Bronny.

“For those that don’t know… Late second-round picks don’t get guarantees (especially before summer league). Typically, late second-round picks don’t get 4-year guaranteed roster spot deals either. This wasn’t earned, I’m sorry… And it’s an egregious abuse of power from LBJ & Rich Paul. It’s a slap in the face to all of the kids out there who work their asses off to get to the league. It’s sneaky Hollywood stuff like this that turns a lot of people off about LeBron… This is just another example of what they be talking about right when you try to like him,” Hunter wrote.

Hunter further fueled the controversy by comparing LeBron to Michael Jordan. He claimed that Jordan could have done the same for his son but chose not to.

“This is why most people prefer MJ or Kobe over him because you know at least MJ or Kobe are straight shooters… Trust me, MJ could’ve gotten one of his sons in the league if he chose to abuse his power like that… But he didn’t because MJ stands on earned not given, and he would’ve never given his son a sense of entitlement which is what LeBron James just did with Bronny,” he continued.

Bronny’s draft has already sparked discussions among fans, many of whom view Bronny’s draft as an example of nepotism. Even American columnist Jason Whitlock joined the fray, taking a shot at the father-son duo.

NBA fans quickly gathered in the comment section of the post, where Jacob made Steven Hunter’s private post public. Instead of agreeing with Hunter’s claims, most fans criticized him, particularly regarding his comparison to Michael Jordan.

Several fans pointed out the controversy over MJ’s alleged inflated stats, arguing that Hunter’s comparison was flawed. Others noted that Jordan’s sons lacked the skill to even be considered for the draft.

However, not all fans disagreed with Hunter. Some supported his comments, believing his critique of Bronny’s draft selection was justified.

The rapper justified his pick to Jeff Eisenberg of Yahoo Sports,  stating, “It’s hard not to go with Shaq… you can’t lose with Kobe, Jordan, and Shaq. How could you lose with that combo?!”  Cube’s choice highlights the domination of Lakers icons from the past, even though LeBron is a powerhouse in basketball right now.

The 55-year-old has always acknowledged Michael Jordan as the all-time best player. Besides, he saw the Kobe-Shaq period firsthand as the two cemented their position in basketball history by winning three championships together. So, from his perspective, they are the formidable basketball trio, at least on paper.

The coming NBA season is very important for the Los Angeles Lakers after their unfortunate first-round loss last year. So, they chose to retain LeBron James for the next NBA season, which is an intelligent call. Meanwhile, LeBron actively supports the team, even offering a pay cut to help the front office sign key free agents. Although this is a favorable decision, a recent discovery from the ageless wonder of the NBA has cast doubt on his basketball future.

Time is running out for LeBron James’s legendary career as he enters his 22nd season. He told ESPN’s Dave McMenamin that he’s 39 years old and knows his current deal may be his last, but he hasn’t decided yet.

In the interview, he claimed, “I mean, it could be [the last contract I will ever sign],” James told ESPN. “I’d never sit up here and say, ‘Oh, maybe not.’ Yeah, it could be. Easily. But we’ll see what happens.”

However, we may never know when LeBron James will retire from basketball, but when he does, fans everywhere should expect an emotional and riveting farewell.

The “Hawk Tuah” hype has died down in recent times, and it appears a new female is ready to take Haliey Welch’s place as she’s popped up in a timely interview that has men falling in love all over America.

The young woman, named Sloane, hasn’t gone viral over anything sexual, unlike Haliey. Instead, she’s been wowing men with her college football knowledge – well, at least those who aren’t fans of ACC teams.

The video below shows Sloane being interviewed on the street. Her interviewer hits her with a dating scenario that sounds like a complete turnoff, unless you’re a woman who enjoys college football.

“He’s a 10, but he’s a degenerate sports bettor that sits on the couch every Saturday for 12 hours. He doesn’t even get up to go take a piss,” the guy holding the mic asks.

Her response is something just about every football fan would want to hear.

“I mean, it depends on what he’s watching,” she explains. “If it’s SEC, he’s an 8. If it’s ACC, he’s a 3.”
