Tyson Fury, the self-proclaimed “Gypsy King,” is at it again. The heavyweight boxing world never lacks drama when he’s around.  He recently lost to Oleksandr Usyk and has been somewhat quiet since then. But now, the Brit emerged from a quiet summer with his trademark bluster fully intact. And he has some choice words for his fellow Brit, Anthony Joshua.

In a fiery interview with TNT Sports, Fury set his sights on long-time rival Anthony Joshua, who recently lost a fight against Daniel Dubois. Despite their history of near-misses and failed negotiations, Fury insists their paths will cross in the ring. He reveals that no matter when or where, they will fight.

“It doesn’t matter if he’s lost one fight or 21, he will never escape The Gypsy King. He will always have to fight me. It doesn’t matter if he’s 49, 42, 55, or 65, we will fight. I don’t care if he never wins another fight for 20 years; we will have to fight for the fans of this country.”


Fans have heard this song before, but there is a conviction in Fury’s tone this time that feels different. Even though he is gearing up for a rematch against Usyk, he still has Joshua in his peripherals, ready to pounce at a moment’s notice.

Tyson Fury knows how to sell a fight, even one that doesn’t exist yet. He’s painting this potential clash as some sort of cosmic destiny. It’s almost poetic. Two British heavyweights, forever linked by what could have been!

 

Tyson Fury Ready To ‘Destroy’ Oleksandr Usyk In Their Rematch

Thanks to Fury’s latest proclamations, the heavyweight boxing world is buzzing again. The ‘Gypsy King’ is gearing up for his much-anticipated rematch with Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh. His first clash with Usyk in May didn’t quite go as planned. The unthinkable happened as he tasted defeat for the first time in his professional career. Now, Tyson Fury is out for blood. He is not mincing words about his intentions for the December 21st bout. He believes he will fix his mistakes and destroy Usyk in the rematch.
