Kim Kardashian is stepping into a role she’s quite familiar with.

The star, known for her role in American Horror Story, is adding another TV credit to her resume with an upcoming Hulu series All’s Fair, masterminded by Ryan Murphy. In the show, Kardashian will portray a high-powered divorce lawyer based in Los Angeles, working at an all-female firm.

According to TMZ, Kardashian’s character draws inspiration from Laura Wasser, the attorney who represented Kardashian during her high-profile divorces from Kris Humphries and Kanye West.

The series will also reportedly weave stories around the divorce cases of various A-list celebrities such as Britney Spears, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, Heidi Klum, Ryan Reynolds, Christina Aguilera, Angelina Jolie, and Kevin Costner, albeit with altered names.

Halle Berry was initially slated to appear in the series but withdrew earlier this month due to “scheduling conflicts.”

Kardashian, 43, has also been pursuing a career in law, driven by her passion for prison reform. However, a source told The U.S Sun in February that her study plans are currently “on hold” so she can concentrate on her business ventures and children.

This isn’t Kardashian’s first foray into acting; she previously portrayed a publicist named Siobhan Walsh in American Horror Story: Delicate.

Last month, the Skims founder sat down with Oscar-nominee Chloe Sevingy for a contentious interview with Variety’s Actors on Actors series, where she discussed her preparation for the role.

“Ryan was so amazing at picking this role for me. It’s something that’s believable, a little different than my personality, but not too far off. He wasn’t throwing me off into something so different that it would open up to so much more criticism,” Kardashian told Sevigny.

She continued: “I worked with an acting coach who would guide me and help me pick my attitude and perception of how I read the lines. But I can always tell if something doesn’t feel right,” she added. You have to respect the script and go with it, there’s [still] a way to do it.

I always wanted to be prepared, and not waste people’s time. “Many viewers were quick to criticize Kardashian as coming across as “vapid” during the discussion about the serious craft of acting, especially in comparison to Sevigny.”

I’d be very offended that they were comparing my acting and experience to Kim’s and upset that this is who I have to riff with as she isn’t a seasoned Actor,” someone wrote on Reddit. “She just embarrassed herself. And stole this opportunity from other talented real actors,” another added.
