La boxeadora olímpica Imane Khelif critica a Elon Musk por su “Cruel” ataque en una emotiva entrevista: “Me odias, pero ni siquiera me conoces”
Imane Khelif denuncia a Elon Musk por liderar una campaña “cruel” contra ella durante los Juegos Olímpicos
Khelif se enfrentó a un escrutinio similar en 2023, cuando fue descalificada del Campeonato Mundial de Boxeo por supuestamente tener cromosomas masculinos “XY”, una afirmación que provocó indignación mundial. Sin embargo, la Asociación Internacional de Boxeo nunca presentó ninguna evidencia científica para sustentar estas acusaciones.
En una entrevista en la televisión francesa, Khelif contó cómo Musk, junto con otras figuras de alto perfil, se unieron al acoso en línea. Musk había retuiteado una publicación que sugería que los hombres no deberían competir en deportes femeninos, haciendo referencia indirecta al partido de Khelif contra la italiana Angela Carini en los octavos de final.
“Elon Musk fue uno de los primeros en atacarme durante esta campaña de odio”, dijo emocionado Khelif. “Él difundió el rumor y lideró este cruel ataque contra mí, mi familia y mi madre, que iba al hospital todos los días en ese momento”.
A pesar del dolor que le causaron estas acusaciones, Khelif se mantuvo firme y atribuyó su fortaleza y resiliencia a su fe. “Soy una mujer musulmana practicante y superé este momento con la guía de Dios. Volveré más fuerte y más motivada”, afirmó.
El éxito olímpico de Khelif llegó a pesar de los desafíos constantes, ya que la controversia en torno a su género seguía persiguiéndola. Sin embargo, su victoria y perseverancia la han convertido en un símbolo de resiliencia frente a la adversidad.
