Susanna Reid broke her silence on the Strictly Come Dancing bullying probe as she spoke in a candid new interview on Sunday.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 53, appeared on the show in 2013 and was a runner-up with her dance partner Kevin Clifton.
Last year a dark cloud covered the BBC show after Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington made claims against her partner Giovanni Pernice.
The BBC upheld six of the 17 complaints and apologised publicly to Amanda, though Giovanni was cleared of the more serious allegations.
Susanna has now told The Times of working with her partner Kevin, 42: ‘I had such a great experience with him.’

During the interview she also admitted she ‘doesn’t know’ Phillip Schofield and ‘didn’t watch’ his survival show
But she added of the show’s controversy: ‘It is like being on a different planet, because everything sparkles, and so it’s a shame when it doesn’t for other people.
‘I think it’s really important that if people have had a bad experience that is addressed and they are supported.’
During the interview she also spoke about working in the ITV studios near where This Morning is filmed – but told how she doesn’t have much to do with the daytime show.
Asked if she watched former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield’s recent survival show she bluntly told the publication: ‘I didn’t watch it, and I don’t know him.’
Last month Phillip revealed he had secretly filmed a special three part series for Channel 5, which required him to give up his home comforts for some soul-searching on a tropical island in the Indian Ocean.
It was the first time he had been on TV since leaving the ITV’s This Morning in May 2023 after admitting to a relationship with a much younger male colleague.
After the affair was revealed his co-host on the show at that time Holly Willoughby reportedly cut all ties with him.
Susanna said she felt that ITV had dealt with the scandal and that it ‘feels like we’ve moved on.’

Susanna said of Strictly: ‘I think it’s really important that if people have had a bad experience that is addressed and they are supported’
It comes after late last month Susanna sent a poignant and emotional message to Liam Payne’s family live on Good Morning Britain.
Liam, 31, who shot to fame after forming One Direction, passed away on October 16 after falling from his balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
During the instalment, Susanna and Richard Arnold, 34, discussed the tragedy and shared that the singer’s family are in their hearts.
Susanna, who is also a mother to three children said: ‘I want to send all our love to his family.
‘What more can you say?
‘They are in our hearts right now.’
Her heartfelt message came after the hosts discussed the price of being famous and in the public eye.
They revealed that there is a common belief that in showbusiness many fans think ‘fame if going to protect them’.
They both disagreed and said that fame can be a ‘poisoned chalice’.
‘It’s the opposite,’ they said.
Richard added: ‘Fame can be a poisoned chalice. You look at, say, the Beatles, and they took their time. This happened so fast.’
