She was trying to recreate Dancing with the Stars’ smooth lift – first performed by American footballer Danny Amendola on the hit show.

It involves the dancer using her core to stay balance as she’s pulled up by her partner.

Kicking off today’s This Morning, Ben Shephard asked co-star Cat: “Quick health check. Are you OK?”

Cat, 48, replied: “I am, but barely, by the skin of my teeth.

“I’m far too old to be doing this kind of thing.”

They then played the clip of them attempting the TikTok trend – which went badly wrong.

Ben, 49, explained: “This was our, I don’t know, 78th attempt. We got a little stuck, then… No Cats were hurt in the making of that film.”

Despite Ben’s efforts to catch her, Cat was seen losing her balance and ending up on her backside on the studio floor.

Cat then suggested there had been a few other mishaps while practising.

“I don’t know about other, regions…”, she joked.

Ben said: “There were a few other outtakes that will probably stay on the internet, it’ll be safer. But it’s OK, we’re alright.”
